Characteristics:
NOBLE-308 is Rutile base, radiographic quality 18-8 stainless steel electrode for resistance to corrosion & cracking. It gives High arc stability and low spatter losses. The resulted weld metal has excellent creep strength and other mechanical properties. It works on AC (70 V OCV) / DC ( + ).
Application:
NOBLE-308 is suitable for the welding of stainless steel types 301,302,304 and 308. It is suitable for building up surfaces on centrifugal pump impellers and shafts, valve faces, seats, chemical plants, steel furniture etc..

NOBLE-309 is heavy coated, Rutile type, all positional except vertical downward electrode giving 23-12 deposit which has excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance in continuous service up to 1100C. It gives a quiet and stable arc, low spatter , smooth weld bead and easily detachable slag. Welds are radiographic sound.
Application:
NOBLE-309 is suitable for the welding of stainless steel types309, straight chrome steels, joining stainless steel to lower alloys steels. It is also suitable for building up mild steel to improve wear resistance and for building up worn parts of wear resisting steels.

NOBLE-310 is heavy coated Rutile type electrode made from 25Cr-20Ni core wire to give 25-20 weld deposit which has excellent stability and oxidation resistance up to 1050C. It gives smooth arc and uniform bead, low spatter loss and good slag removal properties.
Application:
NOBLE-310 is suitable for the welding of stainless type 310. It has application as cladding of stainless clad steels, straight Chrome steels and dissimilar steels in hydrogenation and polymerization plant, gas turbine combustion chamber parts, high temperature furnace parts, annealing boxes and carbonizing pots.

It gives good resistance to pitting corrosion and high temperature up to 850C. The weld metal is of radiographic quality and gives good creep strength. It is recommended to re-dry electrode at 260C for 2 hour.
Application:
NOBLE-316 is suitable for the welding of stainless steel types AISI 316,317 & of similar composition. It is used in fabrication of tanks, vessels, machinery of pulp, paper and textile industries, pharmaceutical equipments, plants & machinery for paint and dye. It is used in the equipment where highly corrosive acids are used.
