Characteristics: NOBLE - 309 is a heavy coated, Rutile type all-positional except vertical downward electrode giving 23 - 12 deposit which has excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance in continuous service up to 1100° C. It gives a quiet and stable arc, low spatter, smooth weld bead and easily detachable slag. Welds are radiographic sound.
Applications: NOBLE - 309 is suitable for the welding of stainless steel types 309, straight chrome steels and joining stainless steel to lower alloy steels. It is also suitable for building up mild steel to improve wear resistance and for building up worn parts of wear resisting steels.

Characteristics: NOBLE - 310 is a heavy coated, Rutile type electrode made from 25% Cr - 20% Ni core wire to give 25 - 20 weld deposit which has excellent stability and oxidation resistance up to 1050° C. It gives smooth arc and uniform bead, low spatter loss and good slag removal properties.
Applications: NOBLE - 310 is suitable for the welding of stainless steel types 310. It has application as cladding of stainless clad steels, straight chrome steels and dissimilar steels in hydrogenation and polymerization plant, gas turbine combustion chamber parts, high temperature furnace parts, annealing boxes and carbonizing pots.

Characteristics: NOBLE - 316L is an extra low carbon 18-12-2 (Cr-Ni-Mo) stainless, rutile type electrode with controlled ferrite content Maximum up to 8% for Maximum resistance to cracking. It gives good resistance to pitting corrosion and high temperature up to 850°C. The weld metal is of radiographic quality and gives good creep strength.
Applications: NOBLE - 316L is suitable for the welding of stainless steel types AISI 316, 317 & of similar composition with low carbon content. It is used in fabrication of tanks, vessels, machinery for pulp, paper and textile industries, pharmaceutical equipments, plants & machinery for paint and dye. It is used in the equipments where highly corrosive acids are used.

Characteristics: NOBLE - 410 is a titania type, all positional electrode which gives smooth weld bead and easily detachable slag. It is air hardening type electrode. It requires preheat to ensure ductility.
Applications: NOBLE - 410 is suitable for air hardening of similar chemical composition or to overlay carbon steel to prevent erosion, corrosion or abrasion. It is used for surfacing steel mill rolls, furnace and burner parts, turbine parts and valve sheets.
