NOBLE - 7018
Low Hydrogen Iron powder type Radiographic Quality Electrode
CLASSIFICATION
IRS - 3Y40HH
AWS - A5.1: E7018
IS - 814: EB5426H3JX
Characteristics: NOBLE - 7018 is a heavy coated iron powder type electrode gives a smooth arc, good penetration and very less spatters. It is easy to operate in all position except vertical downward for radiographic quality welds. It produces uniform and finely rippled welds of superior finish. The weld metal is extremely ductile and crack resistant. The Effective electrode efficiency is more than 110%. The electrode operates on AC (70 V OCV) as well as DC (+) power.
Applications: NOBLE - 7018 is suitable for the welding of high tensile steels such as blast furnace steel work, pressure vessels, storage tanks, wagon building, pipe lines, furnace shells, bridges, ship hulls, root runs in heavy joints etc.

NOBLE - 8018-B2
Mild Steel General Purpose Electrode
CLASSIFICATION
AWS - A5.5: E8018-B2
Characteristics: NOBLE - 8018-B2 is hydrogen controlled, heavy coated iron powder type electrode. It is Suitable for radiographic quality welding of creep resisting and low alloy heat treatable steel. The weld metal deposit is of approximate 1.2% Cr & 0.5% Mo with excellent creep resistance at service temperature up to 550° C. Higher metal recovery gives excellent mechanical properties.
Applications: NOBLE - 8018-B2 can be used in all position except vertical downward and for the welding of micro alloyed (Cr-Mo) steel used for super heater pipings in oil refinery, boiler & power house construction, railway class IV steels and part of earth moving equipments.
